· Trusted recruitment partner ·

One recruiter,

no layers in between.

PauwHR is a boutique executive search practice in The Netherlands, operating from Baarn. The person you meet in the intake is the person who calls the candidates, writes the assessments, and sits with you when the offer goes out.

· The Short Version ·

Psychologist and HRM professional, networker and a reputation for saying the thing the room is avoiding.

Connecting with others has been a common thread throughout my career and, perhaps, my life. Working with people towards a shared goal, thinking in possibilities, and above all, having the drive and ability to turn ideas into action.

That is what led me to establish my own recruitment firm, PauwHR.

· Why Pauw HR exists ·

I will tell you exactly what I think.

That's what gets results.

Recruitment has a volume problem. Large agencies are paid to fill funnels, so they fill funnels. A stack of CVs, a few phone screens, and a consultant who has never read a Dutch collective labour agreement and can’t tell you which candidate will survive a works council meeting.

I started PauwHR because the clients I liked working with didn’t want volume. They wanted judgement. A private equity partner doesn’t need a longlist for a CHRO seat. They need two to three people who can run people strategy through a buy-and-build – and an honest read on the risk in each.

So what you see is what you get. One trusted recruitment partner per client, exclusive, with my full attention. I will tell you exactly what I think. That’s what gets results.

· How I work ·

Four things

I will not bend on

01

Exclusive, or not at all

One search, my full focus, until it is filled. Split mandates split attention, and the candidate experience suffers first. You pay the first third at the start for the same reason - commitment runs both ways.

02

You hear it from me first

If your vacancy text won’t attract the person you want, I say so in the intake. If your favourite candidate is the wrong hire, I say that too - before the offer, not after the first quarter.

03

Two or three names,
never twelve

Every candidate on the shortlist comes with a written assessment: what they’ll do well, where the risk sits, and what they’ll need from you in the first six months.

04

I stay past the signature

Interviews, offer negotiation, the first weeks of onboarding. A placement isn’t finished when the contract is signed. It’s finished when the person is delivering.
